The Elysian Fields ISD Long Range Facility Planning Committee is a group of EFISD stakeholders meeting during the summer and fall of 2023 to analyze data and develop a recommendation to the EFISD Board of Trustees on a Long Range Facility Plan for the district. The committee, which includes district staff, parents, grandparents, students, business and community leaders, was tasked by the EFISD Board of Trustees to make a recommendation based on several factors, including facility needs, district finances, and student-driven outcomes, among others.
THE VISION
The vision of the Elysian Fields ISD Long Range Facility Planning Committee is to provide safe and sustainable facilities that are designed to enhance the growth and meet the diverse needs of all stakeholders.
CHARGE FROM THE BOARD
The EFISD Board of Trustees has authorized the committee to develop a long range facility plan for the district. The board has tasked the committee to develop a recommendation based on the following charge:
1. Review the educational facility assessment, financial assessment, educational programs, and demographic data of EFISD.
2. Prioritize projects (and their options or alternatives) into a Long Range Facility Plan to be recommended for adoption by the Board.
3. Make a recommendation of financial options for the District to pursue to fund the plan.
