A public hearing regarding the Texas Education Agency’s (TEA) 2024-2025 Texas Academic Performance Report (TAPR) for Elysian Fields I.S.D. will take place in conjunction with the regularly scheduled March meeting of the Board of Trustees. The meeting will begin at 6:00 P.M., Monday, March 9th, 2026, at the Elysian Fields ISD Board Room located at 2099 FM 451, Waskom, Texas 75692. The purpose of the TAPR hearing will be to allow for public discussion of the TAPR district and campus reports. Copies of the reports will be available for public review at each school building and the district administrative office. This release is tendered in compliance with Texas Education Code (TEC) requirements to provide notice of the hearing by means of local media.

The Elysian Fields ISD Board of Trustees consists of seven members elected to serve, without compensation, for four year terms and represent the entire school district.  Elections are held in November of even numbered years.  All Elysian Fields ISD residents who meet eligibility requirements as specified in Board Policy BBA (Legal) and Texas Education Code 11.061 and 11.002 may run for a position.  Three trustees’ positions (places 5, 6, and 7) will be up for election on November 3, 2026.  Eligible residents residing within district boundaries in Harrison County and Panola County considering running for school board can access a free online training course through the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) which explains the roles and responsibilities of the position. 

Elysian Fields ISD will apply for the Title I, Title II, Title III (SSA), Title IV, and Idea B Federal Grants for the August 2025-May 2026 school year. Elysian Fields ISD plans to use these funds to support the intent and purpose of such grants. English | Spanish

Elysian Fields Independent School District will hold a public hearing in accordance with the requirements of the Texas Education Agency and Texas Education Code §31.1011 regarding the 2026–2027 Certification of Provision of Instructional Materials. The purpose of the hearing is to certify that the district has instructional materials that cover the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) for each subject and grade level and that all students will have access to those materials for the 2026–2027 school year. The hearing will begin at 6:00 P.M., Monday, April 20th, 2026, at the Elysian Fields ISD Board Room located at 2099 FM 451, Waskom, Texas 75692.
