Elysian Fields ISD has proudly provided a donation of $850 to "A Touch Of Pink" as part of the district's goal to help bring awareness of breast cancer during the month of October.
A Touch of Pink is a wonderful non-profit organization that provides a check, with set standard amount, to any resident of Harrison County who has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
A Touch of Pink was chosen by EFISD as a way of giving back to an organization that has helped even some of the district's employees. Elysian Fields is not immune to this terrible disease, and we are so thankful for A Touch of Pink that has been there each time to help us in our times of need and uncertainty.
The donation was presented to Mrs. Diane Seal, a local Touch of Pink representative, by EFISD's Jayme Hammontree, who herself is a breast cancer survivor.
