A transfer window will be designated each spring for receipt of transfer applications for enrollment in the proceeding school year. A nonresident student requesting a transfer to EFISD shall file an application for transfer within the transfer window. Transfer applications for the 2026-2027 school year will be accepted March 2, 2026 through May 28, 2026. Applications must be submitted in person at the Elysian Fields ISD Administration Office, located at 2099 FM 451, Waskom, TX 75692, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday. All applications will be certified with the date and time they were received.

Decisions responsive to transfer applications received timely and within the transfer window will be issued no later than June 30, 2026. Requests for admission as a transfer student made after the transfer window closes shall be considered on a case-by-case basis.
