A Night To Celebrate

Last night’s Board Meeting was a memorable evening filled with celebration, appreciation, and recognition for the incredible individuals who make a difference in the lives of our students each day.
During the meeting, the district proudly honored each campus Teacher of the Year and Para of the Year for their dedication, passion, and commitment to excellence in education. These educators represent the very best of our schools, and their impact is felt far beyond the classroom walls.

Elementary School

  • Para of the Year — Amy Findley
Middle School
  • Teacher of the Year — TJ Tiller
  • Para of the Year — Kendl Russell
  • Support Staff of the Year — Jamie Brown
High School
  • Teacher of the Year — Sherry Gillis
  • Para of the Year — Jamie Winningham
The evening also included recognition of our School Board members by middle school and high school students and staff in appreciation of their continued support throughout the 2025–2026 school year. Their leadership and dedication play an important role in the success of our district and students.
A special thank you goes to our talented floral design students for creating the beautiful floral arrangements presented to board members, as well as the band trombone quartet for their outstanding performance that added a special touch to the celebration.
It was truly a wonderful night that reflected the heart of our district — honoring excellence, celebrating service, and showing our shared Jacket pride. 🧡
