EFISD Names Justin James as EFHS Principal-Elect

Elysian Fields ISD is pleased to announce the hiring of our new Elysian Fields High School Principal-Elect, Mr. Justin James!
James comes from Bossier Parish in Louisiana, where he has served for 30 years as a teacher, coach, and administrator. It is a homecoming of sorts for James, as he began his career as a student teacher in EFISD.
"Returning as your Principal-Elect is not just surreal, but a blessing," said James. "I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Mrs. Dickson and the Board for this wonderful opportunity."
A word from our Elysian Fields High School Principal-Elect, Mr. Justin James:
Justin and his wife, Lisa, have been married for 33 years. They have three children who are married, and three grandchildren.
Son Jacob is a graduate of East Texas Baptist University and is currently the offensive coordinator at Parkway High School in Bossier Parish. He and his wife Whitney have two daughters, Josie and Ellie.
Son Josh and his wife Emma have daughter, Temple. Josh is also a graduate of ETBU and is serving as the defensive coordinator at North Desoto High School in Louisiana.
Son Eli, married to Kennedy, is scheduled to graduate from Louisiana Tech University this fall and will seek a law degree from LSU.
"I have deep family roots to Elysian Fields," said James. "I look forward to this next chapter. I’m looking forward to being a part of your rich tradition. Most importantly, I look forward to building relationships with the students, faculty, and the Elysian Fields community!"
