EFISD Archery Advances To World Championships

The Elysian Fields Elementary and Middle School Archery teams delivered impressive performances at the Nationals archery tournament held last week in Louisville, Ky.
The elementary team qualified in both bullseye and 3D categories, while the middle school team secured a spot in the 3D division.
Top individual performances were led by Sarah Michel, who placed 20th out of 1,805 elementary students in bullseye and 25th out of 721 in 3D.
Other standout scores came from Jeep Paine, who finished 134th in 3D among 791 elementary participants; Erica Mitchell, 185th in bullseye out of 1,805; and Hensley Hall, 182nd in 3D.
Middle school student Lauren Williams placed 195th out of 2,521 in the bullseye competition.
The teams will now set their sights on competing in the NASP World Championships to be held June 5–7 in Myrtle Beach, SC.
